BlogHer collected data of social media likes and dislikes from women across 3,000 blogs.

81 percent of the surveys state that women trust Pinterest more. Whereas, 73% trusts the twitter tweets and only 67% of them trust the most popular site Facebook.

Unlike other social network sites Pinterest provides information about the new products. 47% of the surveyed persons confirmed that they had made the latest online purchase based on the reviews about the product they have read on Pinterest. While other 33% and 31% made the purchase based on Facebook and twitter recommendation respectively.

No doubt that in short time Pinterest has emerged as winner on social network circuit and soon become the favorite social media site for females as well as for marketers and retailers.
