Published

on

Adobe Flash plugin is perhaps the most beautiful and widely use plugin on internet. Imagine internet without Flash will be so boring and incomplete. The best part i like about Adobe Flash is its speed at which it plays animation online. It renders all content in vector format so that quality of your animation is very high but with lesser file size. But the biggest problem with plugins is that you have to download and install them in order to use them. Also if you have a gadget which don’t support Flash like Apple IPad2 than you can’t see Adobe Flash files in it.

So if you want your work to be seen on more platforms with no plugin required than you can convert your Adobe Flash files into HTML5 online via Google Swiffy.

Google Swiffy converts all your Adobe Flash files into HTML5 so that it can be seen on most of the devices even on Apple iPad2 which doesn’t support Adobe Flash Player. Google Swiffy is still in the development phase so it might not play all your Flash files but i have tried many files and most of then work perfectly alright.

Swiffy currently supports a subset of SWF 8 and ActionScript 2.0, and the output works in all Webkit browsers such as Chrome and Mobile Safari. If possible, exporting your Flash animation as a SWF 5 file might give better results.
