After five months of Beta, Microsoft has finally launched Security Essentials 2”. With enhanced malware detection and better integration with Windows Firewall & Internet Explorer. We can expect positive response from the users against this current product from Microsoft.

Security Essentials 2 supports Windows XP Service Pack 2, Windows Vista and Windows 7, though not all features are enabled on Windows XP, Giving the support to switch users to Windows 7 & Vista platform from XP.

Microsoft has also included Forefront Endpoint Protection security software in the Vole, which includes real-time server monitoring for business users. The Attractive part of this launch is that Microsoft is offering this security suite free to its home and small business (up to 10 PCs) users. Where as medium & large business users have to buy the fore front protection.
