Since Windows Live Messenger is the most popular IM client there are literally hundreds of multi hacks and application available to patch WLM to run its multiple instances. But you need to install any of those applications in your system to run multiple instances of WLM.

In Windows Live Messenger multi-run support is not enabled by default but you can enable it with a simple registry hack. The traditional method of registry hacking requires some manual adding of entries in registry. But I’ve combined those registry editing steps in single .reg file which once executed can make your Windows Live Messenger to run multiple instances so you can sign in with your all Live ID’s in those multiple instances of the messenger.

Instructions:

1. Download the Multi Windows Live Messenger Hack by clciking here.
2. Extract .reg file from the zip anywhere in your system.
3. Double Click the .reg file.
4. Click Yes, when this prompt appears:

5. Click OK to Save the changes.

6. Now Run Windows Live Messenger as many times as you want
